Rankin DSouza

Co-Founder

Rankin is drawn to challenging the status quo, especially around the build vs. buy decisions that shape modern SaaS, data, and AI systems. He has worked across education, marketing, political, and healthcare environments, helping teams make sense of everything from lightweight CSV workflows to petabyte-scale cloud data infrastructure.

He brings a practical, systems-level perspective to data problems, with a focus on turning scattered tools, unclear definitions, and fragile pipelines into reliable foundations teams can actually build on. At Workbench, he is focused on helping companies push further with their data without losing sight of trust, scalability, and real business context.

Charlie Smith

Co-Founder

Charlie has spent years working in forward-facing analyst and consultative roles. After working in a SaaS sales role he was drawn to analytics and helping teams utilize their data in new and unique ways. Through his work with nonprofits, retail and B2B SaaS organizations, he's stayed committed to finding ways to test ideas and build innovative data products.

At Workbench, he is eager to find innovative groups that are looking to make the most out of their data and work smarter.
